Playtime!

Quinn & Rover’s F1B Cavapoo Girl “Zoey” now owned by Katelyn in WA

The importance of playtime cannot be overstated! The primary way our furry family members bond with us is through our daily interactions. If we make the time to play with them each day, they’re bound to love us more, and we’ll get more attached!

What does Puppy playtime look like at Red Carpet Doodles?

Lately, I’ve been taking Ariana’s litter of F1 Cavapoos outside in the front yard for playtime. They enjoy the space, and I want them to enjoy that environment before the snow falls! Unfortunately once the snow falls, all of our play sessions will have to remain inside. If you ever want a sneak peek into what that playtime can look like, be sure to follow our Facebook and watch the stories. I love to post pictures and videos there during my computer break while I’m out playing with these fun fur-balls!

Ariana & Rover’s F1 Cavapoo Girl “Abby”

When we can’t go outside, I love to sit in our puppy play pens with them and just give lots of attention, encourage them to play with their rope toys, and get lots of kisses from all of them. They adore the one-on-one time, but they also adore the group tackle and the group love. They really are too sweet to us! We’re lucky to have produced them!

Our older puppies who have more access to the outdoors still get played with! They are more eager to play all day with any of our poodle adults who want to roughhouse with them, and while we’ll let them go crazy in our front yard, they definitely prefer their normal play areas in the side-yards. They love coming inside and going outside as they please, and we make sure to give them daily attention and playtime when they want it!

What does Adult playtime look like At Red Carpet Doodles?

Lainey & Dragon’s Red Goldendoodle Girl “Poppy”

Our adults deserve just as much attention as our littles. While they may not be as fun to film since they get less playful, our adults still get their daily one-on-one time with us as well as bursts of play time with Julie! Our adults love the companionship of following us through our work day, and are less eager to play, but when they do get eager to play, we’re more than happy to oblige and take a break so that they can get the attention they so deserve!

For example, our goldendoodle mama, Lainey, usually gets a big burst of energy when I come into work, or if I’m sitting down for a lunch break. She’s eager to play, she’s eager to get moving, and most importantly, she’s eager to get attention! By playing with her and getting that extra one-on-one bonding time, she becomes a lot more trusting of us in the future, and is more loving and eager to please in other aspects of her life here!

I co-own Quinn, an F1 Cavapoo mama here at Red Carpet Doodles, and I will say that she hasn’t gotten any less playful or goofy since we adopted her! She enjoys the daily play sessions we have each day. She loves running out in the yard, and ADORES playing fetch with her squeaky soccer ball. My husband and I try our best to spend all the time we can meeting each of her fun needs! It’s all a part of responsible dog-ownership and a great way to stay connected with your furry family member!

Puppies of the week

Ariana & Rover’s F1 Cavapoos really are a sweet bunch of pups, and it’s going to be hard watching them find and go to their forever homes! They’ve all been super smart at going in their potty tray, and I always look forward to taking them out in the front yard to run and play. They really are too cute to watch, and it’s so fun to show them off on our Facebook in-between professional pictures.
