Here at Red Carpet Doodles, we are very thankful for every little referral our previous customers give to their friends and family. To them it might not mean a whole lot, but for potential buyers it can make all the difference. Every breeder has their own values, practices, and ways of doing things, and by hearing from previous customers, it can give potential buyers an opportunity to see if things align for them. After all, they’re looking for their next furry family member, so they need all the information about the breeder that they can get!
The Value For the Breeder
It can be very emotionally taxing to say goodbye to our puppies. It means a lot when we get a pupdate or testimonial from their new owners because it shows that our babies are well-loved and doing great in their new homes. It really is the best part of the job as we’re able to see the joy that these babies have brought into other people’s lives. It makes the blood, sweat, and tears it all worth it in the end.
I follow a few of our pet-owners who have been gracious enough to share pictures of their puppies on their Instagram! A few of them have even started Instagram accounts specifically for their animals. I always love seeing the updates from them whenever I get on Social Media. It’s so fulfilling and fun to see how everybody is doing! Let me share this amazing testimonial that we got just last week about “Gracie” from Ariana & Rover’s latest litter. “Our Cavapoo, Gracie, has been with us for 6 weeks and we cannot be happier with her and our experience with Red Carpet Doodles (RCD). Sometimes we’ll receive inquiries from current owners looking for how their puppy’s siblings are doing. Sometimes we have updates, and sometimes we don’t. We don’t tend to solicit updates from those who aren’t eager to share on their own, but it can really help build a well-loving culture of dog-lovers behind the breeder and create a better community of doggy friends. Among these pupdates, we’ve also been able to set sibling-mates up for puppy play dates! It can be very fun for all involved, and we love seeing the joint-updates that we get from those experiences for those who are willing and able to share!
In an effort to expand the value for current owners and potential buyers, we’ve even started momma pages for each of our current dogs, so that we can more easily share all of the pupdates that we get with all who ask! On Lainey’s Momma page you’ll even find puppies that span from litters from Spring 2020 and onward! It’s so fun to see all the pictures and testimonials that we get, and it’s even more fun to share them with all of you! We got this picture of “Wally” just yesterday, and it brightened our day to hear that he’s “still a happy, playful puppy, and the light of [their] lives!!!”

The value for Potential buyers
Last but certainly not least, it’s super important for potential buyers to be able to see what kinds of puppies we’ve produced in the past. One of the most common questions we’ll get is how big they’ll be when they grow up, and what they’ll look like. Luckily for them, we have plenty of past litters that we are able to rely on for data. We sometimes will ask our previous customers for more information about what weights they ended up at, and then adjust our projected weights for current and future litters for more accuracy.
As mentioned before, our potential buyers are also more than welcome to visit our Momma pages to see previous puppies and testimonials, or of course they’re welcome to visit our Gallery & Testimonials page to see more detailed experiences and pupdates from all of our past puppies!
The Value of a Referral
Of course Pupdates can be fun to look at and all, but nothing’s more powerful than a Referral. If your friend buys from us and highly recommends us, you’re probably not going to be searching very hard to find some other breeder who may not value the things that you do. At the end of the day, when your friends and family recommend someone, that’s going to stick out more than any other Gallery, Facebook or Instagram Post, or even any blog post that we could write. If you loved your experience with Red Carpet Doodles, please consider referring your friends and family and just spreading the word about your experiences. More than half of our buyers come through referrals, and you’re helping us a ton when you share your experiences— even if it’s to a complete stranger in line at the grocery store!
Puppy of the week
Puppy of the week? We only have 3 Cavapoo puppies left from our current litters, but who could resist Axel’s sweet temperament?
Axel started out as more of an active, outgoing-type of puppy, but over time he has become more relaxed, eager to be held and snuggled, and very eager to please. This guy would make an amazing companion for anyone looking for a loyal pet to have at their side. He does great with strangers, kids, other dogs, you name it!
This sweet baby boy has a reduced price point from when he was first listed in an effort to get him in his forever home sooner rather than later. We would love to schedule an appointment with anyone who fills out and gets their Questionnaire & Application approved. Whoever decides to move forward with Axel is going to be so lucky, and I’m going to miss him so much. Please promise you’ll send us referrals and pupdates if you decide to take him!
